Back in the 80s some railroad companies were using a very special shaped tsurikawa rings to help business advertise their product or service to the passengers. We have revived this vintage shape!
This version features a traditional Devil (oni) head and the two Kanji "Goku Aku" mean "Extremely bad".
This Tsurikawa is made of very luxry Nishijinori textile made in Kyoto.
The textile pattern of facing Dragon which said to call the cloud and Tiger which said to make the wind was popular among warloads or zen monks in Sengoku period.
This Nishijinori fablic is used for bag for Katana (Japanese sword), pouch for Japanese tea tool and traditional places.
The “Kyoto Edition” is a Japanese handmade Tsurikawa featuring a strap made of genuine Japanese textiles.
The strap opens and closes using a snap button and doesn’t require any tool to be installed.
Please note: The “Kyoto Edition” is for decoration purpose only. Don’t use it as safety handle.
